The Millennium Players
Good evening and welcome to tonight’s performance of ‘As the Snow Falls’. Thank you so much for supporting us tonight as we bring our play in front of a live audience for the very first time!
The first thing to note is that this is a work in progress, our aim is to expand the running time and work more on the characters relationship, but the goal of this evening is to get feedback from you to help us get there. At the bottom of this page you’ll find a link to a Google form where you can submit anonymous feedback after the show. Also, if you have the time, we will be hanging around afterwards so please come and have a chat!
This has been a really exciting collaborative journey for us. How many people get to say they've written and performed their own play? We are really lucky that we both have great support networks around us. Not only this, we also have the backing of the fabulous Millennium Players, without whom none of this would have been able to go ahead.
THANK YOU’S
Some extra special people who have helped us along the way:
Simon Hellyer - For lending us his shrewd eye for direction. Simon has given us some really valuable insight in the last few rehearsals. We are completely indebted to him.
Dom Wilder - For designing and printing our fantastic bar, at this stage in our production to have a magnificent piece of set like that is a dream. Thanks Dom!
Dom Hartley - For lending us his superb keyboard. The aim was always to have a piano but of course, this comes with certain logistical difficulties. Dom’s keyboard is a more than
capable replacement.
Anne Duc - Our very own Agnes. No pub is complete without a landlady!
Louis Roberts - This is his debut on lighting and with only two rehearsals under his belt he’s done a stellar job. You can do whatever you want to try and make a production work but if you don’t have the lighting then you don’t have a play. Thanks Louis!
